Little Red
The perfect light red. Made using carbonic maceration, rendering this wine oh-so-juicy with just enough structure due to the whole bunches. If you love Beaujolais Gamay, give this a try.
Little Red
Each year we use a blend of fruit-forward and vibrant red varieties. About 5% of the grapes are destemmed and lightly crushed at the bottom of the tank, and the rest is left as whole bunches creating a natural carbonic maceration effect. The juice is drained off daily to control the tannin and stalk characters.
The result is a super juicy red that loves a light chill and can function as a lighter option for cool weather drinking or pretty much the only red you’d want to drink on a hot day.
2023 – Grenache, Mataro, Nero d'Avola
Riverland
Elevated acidty that has now integrated really nicely into the wine. Suits coming straight from the fridge.

2022 – Graciano, Montepulciano, Merlot, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon
Hilltops, New South Wales
The Graciano gives a soft plushness to this Little Red. It has a slurpy texture with a nice acidity from the Montepulciano

2021 – Mataro
Hilltops, New South Wales
A cool climate, but quite a cool year. Whole bunch Mataro is luscious and soft with a nice natural acidity. This is drinking beautifully.

Lovely cherry jam scents, whiffs of almost savoury bergamot or bitter spice, sniffs of pepper too. The palate is juicy, lively, lightly crunchy. An almost sappy feel with freshness writ large in the wine. The finish is crunchy, mouth-watering and tart. It's a belter for warm days, shows quiet complexity, deserves a light chill. Pitch perfect in its way.

Satsuma plum meets redcurrant and dried vine leaf. There is caper leaf, lavender and dried thyme. Morello cherries and pomegranate juice. A slight chill suits but don’t go too far and miss the nuances of which there are plenty.

This family are hiding nothing when it comes to their principles, their winemaking, and their winemaking principles, it is quite refreshing. They have every reason to stand tall beside their wines and marvel at their excellence. Nicely done indeed and thank you.
