Blood Orange 2025

A feather-light red & white coferment with a citrus edge. Juicy cherry and raspberry fruit carry through to a bright, gently bitter finish, making it both refreshing and complex. If you enjoy Jura reds like Poulsard or Trousseau, this is an easy next step.

"This is actually so good. Needed a second bottle." – Olive D.

Tasting & production notes

"It reminds of a Jura light red, such as a Trousseau."

Huon Hooke, The Real Review

Huon Hooke, The Real Review

Fresh and intense strawberry, raspberry aromas, clean and fresh, while the taste is intense and balanced. The tannins impart a trace of bitterness which is pleasantly refreshing. It reminds of a Jura light red, such as a Trousseau.

Tony Peters, Words from a Wineglass

There is something profoundly cool about this wine. It defies easy categorisation and I mean that in a good way. Made from two white varieties (50% Fiano, 30% Vermentino) and one red variety (20% Nero d’Avola) that have clearly enjoyed being co-fermented, comes a wine with quiet confidence and a playful vivacity. Juicy dark cherries are nicely balanced by some red berry freshness, if you like, with a citrus ‘lift’ that rounds things off on the finish giving it a refreshing touch to go out on. This is a wine that doesn’t ask for patience. Far from it. It is present and accountable and sometimes that’s exactly what we like in our wines. Good gear!

Peter Lock, Annandale Cellars

Super moreish light "red" blend that is surprisingly mostly white grapes! It's actually a blend of 75% white and 25% red grapes which is where the colour and all the red fruit flavour comes from. The combination of the two shifts the fruits more towards the cherry side of things brightening up the darker side Cabernet tends to offer added with a citrus character coming from the Sauv Blanc. Reminds me of a really light Amaro?! Super cool.
