Gundagai Chenin Blanc
Born from an extended co-ferment of red and white grapes, Blood Orange is a luminous, feather-light red with a citrus streak. Juicy cherries, raspberries and kaffir lime peel flow into a cleansing bitter finish, making it both refreshing and complex. Best enjoyed chilled, it recalls the playful delicacy of Jura reds like Poulsard or Trousseau, but with its own coastal Australian accent.
What it's like
Lots of candied raspberries and cherry, some blue fruits too. A touch of chalkiness and complex earthy forest notes, with a lovely lingering acidity.

Serving suggestions
Serve cold then leave the bottle out of the fridge and enjoy the different flavours as the wine changes temperature. A perfect match for pizza night.

Huon Hooke, The Real Review
Fresh and intense strawberry, raspberry aromas, clean and fresh, while the taste is intense and balanced. The tannins impart a trace of bitterness which is pleasantly refreshing. It reminds of a Jura light red, such as a Trousseau.

Satsuma plum meets redcurrant and dried vine leaf. There is caper leaf, lavender and dried thyme. Morello cherries and pomegranate juice. A slight chill suits but don’t go too far and miss the nuances of which there are plenty.
Tony Peters, Words from a Wineglass
This family are hiding nothing when it comes to their principles, their winemaking, and their winemaking principles, it is quite refreshing. They have every reason to stand tall beside their wines and marvel at their excellence. Nicely done indeed and thank you.

"It's a belter for warm days, shows quiet complexity, deserves a light chill. Pitch perfect in its way."
Mike Bennie, The Wine Front
