Riverland White 2023
This one-litre green carafe is hand-blown from recycled glass in Marrakech, Morocco. Its long neck, rounded base and small pouring lip make it practical at the table, while tiny bubbles, marks and gentle variations show the artisan's hand, making each piece unique.

Made for a cleaner pour. Because our wines are unfined and unfiltered, a little haze or sediment is completely natural. Pour slowly into this hand-blown green glass carafe, stopping before the sediment leaves the bottle, and serve a clearer expression of the wine at the table. Made from recycled glass in Marrakech, each one carries slight warps, marks and air bubbles that make it unique.
Our wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered, so a little haze or sediment is not uncommon, and is in fact an important part of the wine that often gets overlooked – one that gives us a surprising amount of control over how we enjoy each bottle.
Serve straight into your glass, and the wine may become cloudier and more textured as you go. Or, for a cleaner, crisper, and more precise expression, transfer it gently into a carafe and leave the sediment behind. The difference from the same bottle can be truly startling.
These carafes are hand-blown from recycled glass at the Beldi Country Club in Marrakesh by a group of 60 artisans from the last glass factory in Morocco. They recycle two tons of glass a day with any waste from the process melted down again. Shaped with a lipped rim, tapered neck and rounded base with thick walls, slight warps, marks and air bubbles, which are traces of the artisanal process.
